How does a Human Resource Officer get an employee on a course?
If you are a Human Resource Officer and are not sure which course your employee should attend, we have prepared below a short resume of what course is suitable to each member of staff:-

Those aged 30 – 45:  Join us on a One-Day Mid-Life Seminar and find out about providing for the future, improving your pension, University Fees, Wills and passing money to children.  See the link on our home page on "What to expect on a Mid-Life Course" and dates of next availabe Seminar.

Those aged 50 to 60:  Join us on a Three-Day Pre-Retirement Course to cover questions about taxation in retirement such as “If I have a part-time job will I pay tax and, if so, how much?” or  “How much will my investment be affected?”  “If I live in my villa in Spain will I still receive my Government Pension?”  “Can I still obtain credit when I retire?”…… and tips on how to enjoy your retirement.  We recommend attendance on this course 3 – 5 years before retirement.  Fill in the "on line" booking form and visit the link of all the dates for 2005.

Those aged 65 or with elderly parents:  Join us on a Half-Day Peace of Mind Seminar where you will find out what options are available if you or your relatives have to go into residential care and may have to sell property to pay the fees.  These Seminars will be arranged depending on the amount of interest shown.

Please check your staff records to calculate their date of birth and then decide which course is suitable and complete and return the relevant booking forms either on line or print out and fax back.  Full Joining Instructions will be issued 2 weeks before the date of the course.  As more companies are becoming INVESTOR IN PEOPLE AWARD HOLDERS, we know that you will be committed in supporting your staff in this vital area.
It is important that at whatever stage of life we find ourselves, we can relax if our finances are in order.  The Nottingham and District Pre-Retirement Council have been arranging courses for over 35 years and during the past 12 months over 550 people from local companies attended, including delegates from Nottingham City and Notts. County Councils, NHS Trusts, our two Universities, the former Mayors of Broxtowe Borough Council and Lord Mayor of Nottingham.
